Oh my gosh. The absolutely best!!!! Terrific food and service. Worth the 2 hour drive. Will be back again and again.

Great supper club atmosphere! You can go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is great! The salad bar is has everything and more. Great service!

We hit one supper club a month and decided on the one. The wife even spent time at Cabelas beforehand. The food was phenomenal. I had the prime rib and my wife ordered the seafood platter. Zero complaints. Great food, drink & waitstaff!

This Wisconsin Supper Club was as classic as they come... great food, drinks and atmosphere. Filet mignon was excellent. I highly recommend this place!

Delicious salad bar (omg the croutons and ranch dressing are dynamite). My steak was cooked to order and the prices are very reasonable. If I am ever in the area I will definitely stop in again.

Growing up, this was the place our family would make as our 'special dinner night' on vacations. 40 plus years later, it was just as wonderful. Thanks for great memories.

Great food with a welcoming atmosphere!

On the recommendation from our hotel, my wife and I ate there. We had a great experience. We were seated promptly, the service was very good and the food was great. Black Angus is on our list of places to go during future visits to Prairie du Chien.

I worked at this place as a teenager and I just went back for my 40th class reunion and the food and the salad bar are awesome that is a tenderloin and hash browns with onions and cheese my friend had the bluegill that's the other picture for $13 it's a plateful

The atmosphere is a bit dark, but nice. The food is also good, but overpriced for what it is. If the price was more reasonable I would go there more often.

WOW 🤩..... if you like the ambiance of the 1950s kool supper club and the smells of grilled meats .... and a great huge fresh loaded salad bar and awesome desserts .. this is it folks!

I was in town on business and dined here Saturday night, August 3rd. What a surprise to find such an excellent restaurant in this small town! Best prime rib ever! Best Brandy old Fashioned ever! Along with all the rest!

Usually, this place does not disappoint. However, the last two times we were here, including right now, have been terrible. While the food is great, plan to wait up to an hour, even with a reservation. This time, we waited almost 25 minutes, in a less than half full restaraunt, to even see our waitress or get waters. Good food, but may not be worth the wait.

I was greeted by a very pretty hostess Haley and must I say she was beautiful and a very quiet atmosphere type little restaurant West Reading once I sat at the table with a very pretty Olivia my waitress the only thing that I give it a downfall on is my steak was supposed to be a 16oz it look more like a 12 oz I think they need to look back at the sizes of their steaks make them a little bit bigger the steak all in all the meal itself was cooked perfectly it was delicious a nice little salad bar to go with it with some cheese on the side two types of cheese soups seasoned tomatoes very good and I would say I have to give it at least a 4 and 1/2 *if I ever stopped up here again I would go back and have a meal

An excellent place to visit. Warm, friendly service. The grill master knows his craft. Make sure you try a brandy Old Fashioned. So good, I want to get in the car and drive 2.5 hours just to enjoy another!

Great service greatest food in town!

We could only eat appetizers because we were on our motorcycles and didn't feel dressed appropriately for dining there. No dining in the bar area on Saturday nights 😟 That was a bummer since we were hoping for a steak. Great bartender!!

Excellent food every time! Amazing steak! Amazing salad bar and over the top service! It's worth the one hour drive for us! And they have Mt Dew! 😊

Would give 5 stars but server messed up a couple of items. Example: asked for an old fashion sour and I got whiskey on the rocks. Food is excellent and so is the atmosphere.

On vacation from Texas, my wife is from Prairie. We visit once a year and I have been wanting to eat here for some time. Atmosphere was great as I expected, love the music (Tony Bennett etc). I believe our waitress was Amy, good service. She told us the specials, I had a steak and a baked potato special. Very good! I understand the price of some things and have no problem paying for it, just did not feel like the special price for my plate was what I thought. It seemed like I received no special price. My bad for not asking up front.We took our deserts to go. I had the strawberry cake, It was not as good as I had hope. Maybe a day or two old? But my wife and daughter loved there cheesecake. We plan on going back next year. Have a great day!

Question the price of your ribeye before ordering.. did realize we had ordered 50 dollar steaks. Roasted potatoes were way over done. Salad bar was good.

Classic Supper Club and a textbook example of a GREAT one! From the Old Fashioneds to kick off the dinner to the amazing salad bar, perfect steaks and great wine selection, this place is amazing!

For a truly authentic Wisconsin Supper club experience it doesn't get any better then the Angus! A great menu with plenty of steak and seafood choices. An important tip, the dining room opens at 5 but the bar opens at 4. Get to the bar early as they will seat you first.and yes the decor is straight from the seventies and immaculate.

The food was pretty good. I recommend the duck bacon wontons. However the service was terrible! I never got a water refill--even when I set the glass out on the edge of the table. The server never asked us how our food was.

It's the go to place when you want to make sure you have an amazing meal. Delicious food, great atmosphere and excellent staff. The hard part is not filling up on the wonderful soup and salad bar before your meal gets to your table and If you have a big appetite and want bragging rights order the Tomahawk. One of the best steaks in the area.

Amazing steaks and the best salad bar in the Midwest you will find. This place is a hidden gem and well worth the drive wherever you are coming from.

When I dream of a Wisconsin super club, it’s hopefully Friday night, the lights are low, the service is sweet...as is my old fashioned, and the salad bar is but feet away. Jones’ did not disappoint. Perfectly served, expertly cooked, it felt like home. Will be back for the walleye et all. Cheers!

Very dimly lit, generic everyday sides, meat was cooked as ordered which tends to be hard for a restaurant to do.

Excellent food and service! From the 20oz Prime Rib to the Kobe Beef Ribeye, to the Tomahawk Ribeye; they def know how cook some good meat. Huge portions and meat so tender it's amazing and the medium rare was exactly that.Scallops in that Creamy Bacon sauce, def worth trying, it was delcious.Mini loaf of warm bread was good. Nice salad bar, not huge but good combination of favorites.

The food was excellent. This is beautiful. The service was great. We arrived a few minutes after 9pm and they let us in and prepared and served a great meal without rushing us. Thanks for your great leadership

We're in the area annually for an extended camping trip at a nearby state park, and I always look forward to getting cleaned up and going into town for fish fry at the Black Angus on Friday night. It's a tradition. From the classic Wisconsin supper club atmosphere to the delicious menu, the warm bread at the table and a top notch salad bar with its greasy croutons and full-calorie dressings, I'm always very pleased. A brandy alexander for dessert tops off the evening nicely.

The food, service , and friendly staff would have rated this a 5 star in my opinion. However, I ordered the ribeye steak and while delicious, it was sinewy. Not what I expected....so 4 stars. Would go back again as salad bar, drinks and all other food was great.

Food is usually fantastic and the service is wonderful. Lobster tails were not bad but not great. They must be frozen. Prime rib and King Crab were very good and the scallops. Salad bar is always very good with soups.

Was for a funeral meal. Some of the best roast beef I have had. The desert was unbelievably good!
